FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Texas Music Coffeehouse begins its spring series on Wednesday, January 17, at 7:30 pm, at the Cailloux Center on the Schreiner
University Campus. The highly acclaimed music duo, Lady Jane Grey, will be the featured performers. Their music has been described as "moody, passionate, with rare depth and honesty," and their song, "Never Should Have Trusted You," is the most requested song at Fredericksburg's KFAN, the top Americana station in the
U.S. Another of their singles, "Fire", stood at the top of the UK pop charts for six weeks and in the top 10 internationally on MP3.com. After having experienced great success on the charts of major MP3 internet sites, Lady Jane Grey was handpicked from hundreds of national acts as finalists for the Lilith Fair Talent Search. Lady Jane Grey's debut CD was released in January 2000. Additional information on CDs/concert dates is available at www.LadyJaneGreyMusic.com. The Texas Music Coffeehouse concert series, the third Wednesday of the month, is sponsored by Schreiner Student Activities and the Texas Heritage Music Foundation.
