The Texas Heritage Music Foundation also has many other sponsorships
available:
$12,000/$6000/ $1000 - Salary for THMF/THMD Assistant Director - $1000
per month
We are very grateful for the many wonderful & generous volunteers which
are the heart’s blood of the THMF, but the THMF is also in DESPERATE
need of at least one paid employee with a set schedule – most “specified
donations” and grants do not cover operational costs/salaries, and it is
just not within our budget to hire someone without your help.
Silent Sponsorship - $1000/$500/$300/$100
We receive many “specified donations” which may only be used for THMD,
artist’s fees, etc. These are more popular because the sponsor will
receive free marketing in THMF publicity/advertising; however, there are
many day to day “normal” business costs in running the THMF which we
need donations to help cover, (i.e. Postage, printing, volunteer’s gas
reimbursement, office supplies, repairs & maintenance, etc.)
$500/$300/$100
Support one artist for the Texas Heritage Music Day/ Texas Music
Coffeehouse Series/ Bard Project. The THMF needs donations to pay the
performance fees and/or the travel expenses of artists who perform at
the Texas Heritage Music Day, the Texas Music Coffeehouse Series & The
Bard Project.
$500
Brochure printing & design sponsorship for the Jimmie Rodgers Texas
Songwriters Symposium/ Texas Heritage Music Day
$500
Sponsor the Jimmie Rodgers Texas Songwriters Symposium @ the Union
Church
We are very proud of the fact that more than 35,000 students and
teachers from all across central and south Texas have participated in
our unique educational projects since 1997. In 2009, we witnessed
tremendous participation in the annual Texas Heritage Music Day
(formally known as Texas Heritage Living History Day) and its
accompanying in-school Bard Project Program and the Transportation Grant
program, as well as our monthly Texas Music Coffeehouse Series. This
growth is largely due to the continued support that you and others have
given us since the beginning. New programs such as the “Whole Lotta
Shakin’” 10 part radio documentary series joined the continued
development of the long standing projects like the Bard Project and the
Texas Oral History Project. Thanks to the support of our generous
friends and members our program and impact continues to grow and
develop.
Once again, thank you for your sponsorship consideration. And always
remember: Singing Songs and Telling Stories do make a difference in the
world!
